Yuwadee or Vivi is a licensed massage therapist trained in traditional Thai techniques and practicing in the United States for years. After building her reputation in California, she brought her practice home to Des Moines, where she now works one on one with clients who want more than a generic spa visit.

Do you accept walk-ins?

No. The studio is inside a building that requires access, so every visit is by appointment only. Please book online or call at least 2 hours before you want to come in.

Which booking system should I use?

You can book through our website, Vagaro, or Leadconnector. All three feed the same calendar so pick whichever is easiest for you.

How far in advance do I need to book?

At least 2 hours. Vivi splits time between locations and needs notice to meet you at the downtown studio.

What should I wear for a Traditional Thai massage?

Loose, stretchy clothing. Traditional Thai is done fully clothed with no oils, so you want something comfortable you can move in.

Is the Thai Combination massage the same as Swedish?

Not quite. Combination keeps the stretching and acupressure of traditional Thai but adds warm oil, so it feels softer than pure Thai and more active than Swedish.

Is prenatal massage safe?

Yes, for expecting mothers from week 13 onward. We use gentle side-lying positioning and avoid pressure points that are not recommended during pregnancy.
